Eliore are fairy-like nighttime creatures who originate from the cores of the several moons that scatter the universe. Inside the hallow parts of the moons, the Eliore plant elaborate cosmic gardens that resemble rainforests of our own. These forests emit lunar energy that is necessary for them to survive. Eliore are free to roam the universe as they please as long as there is a moon orbiting nearby. With incredibly flexible inner-anatomy, these creatures can absorb and adapt to the atmospheres of several different ecosystems. They are curious creatures that inhabit other planets mainly for the sake of boredom and attempt to assimilate to the different types of species that reside there.

Eliore Trait List:

TAIL:

❖ An Eliore's tail is its lifeline and they are immensely protective of them. Their long tails are actually of a silk-like consistency that does not differ much from spider webs or the silk made by a silk worm. While they appear to be very delicate, they are actually incredibly durable and difficult to cut. Good luck trying to trim an Eliore's tail.
❖ Their tails turn translucent when they are frightened.
❖ Their tails are like magnets to the little bits of cosmic dust that float around in every atmosphere. These dust particles form together to form star-like shapes which give the Eliore it's signature tail.
❖ Sometimes the flower and fruit pollen/seeds get caught in the Eliore's tail as well. Don't be surprised to see an Eliore with carnations or fruit on its tail instead of stars. Vegetables seeds, for some reason, do not seem to have any effect.
❖ These little add-ons to their tails serve no specific purpose other than for aesthetic reasons.

RESIDENCE:

❖ Eliore like to reside in places that are elevated from the ground. The closer to the sky the better as they need the lunar energy emitted from orbiting moons to survive.
❖ They can be found residing at the tops of skyscrapers, high-altitude vacation homes, mountain tops, sequoia trees, or even at the tops of airplanes.

ABILITIES:

❖ Eliore don't really fly, they levitate!
❖ To keep from being persecuted in whatever world they choose to inhabit, Eliore have a couple of tactics that they can use in order to keep their ❖ identities hidden.
Transperancy
❖ They can assume a semi-transparency over their entire bodies for a short period of time should they want to keep hidden.
❖ Semi-Transperancy meaning that their bodies will still slightly glimmer at the touch of moonlight should you look closely enough
❖ All Eliore can perform some type of transperancy.
❖ This ability is mostly practiced among the urban Eliore and thus, they can hold their transparencies for a longer amount of time.
❖ Those Eliore that live in the mountains don't often use this practice and thus cannot sustain transparency as long as urban Eliore.
Shape-Shifting
❖ If they have been immersed into the planet enough, an Eliore can shapeshift into a humanoid species of their choosing should they reside in the current planet.
❖ Not all Eliore can perform the shape-shifting technique
❖ Only those who have been at the planet long enough can shapeshift
❖ An Eliore will either stay as it's anthro form or shapeshift fully into a human, there is no in-between in the shape-shifting technique. (In-betweeners are called Elomimi and are actually a hybrid that are a separate subspecies)
❖ They retain their Eliore-form's eye color ALWAYS
❖ When Eliore are in the midst of shapeshifting, they cannot levitate or assume transparency. All of the Eliore's energy goes into maintaining the transformation and thus, they can't really do much else.

ENERGY:

❖ While Eliore can eat the food that normal humans eat, it is not enough to truly give them the energy they need day-to-day.
❖ They absorb lunar energy through the pores of their skin and convert that to energy much like photosynthesis in plant.
❖ Eliore cannot spend prolonged times in complete shadows as they become lethargic and sickly
❖ While they cannot feed during the day as lunar energy can only be fed at night, the Eliore still enjoy the rays of the sun like any other Earth-like creature would.
❖ During cloudy or rainy days, Eliore become a bit lethargic as lunar energy exposure is low, but as long as it isn't pitch-black they can suffice.

PROCREATION:

❖ There are no distinct male or female Eliore. There are feminine and masculine traits but those traits are mainly physical and do not affect an Eliore's ability to impregnate or be impregnated.
❖ Weirdly enough, Eliore actually lay eggs. Usually one at a time. Rarely 2 eggs can be seen in a nest.
❖ In order to lay these eggs properly, Eliore have to be at their most, comfortable environment
❖ Usually this means that they need to go to a cosmic garden (any orbiting moon will do) and intubate and lay those eggs there.
❖ If the Eliore does not want to bear children but is fertile, all the Eliore has to do is not go to a cosmic garden. Without the proper environment for intubation, the eggs just kinda die inside the Eliore and get reabsorbed into their bodies (…it's gross…)
❖ More often than not, they are monogamous. But polyamory among Eliore is not unheard of.
❖ Crossbred Eliore are a thing!!! <--- newly updated info!

EXTRA:

❖ Some Eliore who have a great deal of shapeshifting abilities have been able to fully immerse into the Earthling lifestyle and sustain careers, build credit, and even fall in love.
❖ Their body fluids are a silky, opaque substance that has the same look as if you melted pearls.
❖ Eliore blood is a bright red much like ours but it has little glitters in it that make the blood look like it's glistening
❖ Their eyesight is pretty bad (even at night lol which is pretty pathetic) but their hearing is quite superb
❖ Very social creatures who love company. Though there are some edge-lord Eliore who do prefer to be alone.
❖ Their eyes can vary in sclera color, but these are mainly for aesthetic purposes and are neither rare no common.

LORE FAQ:

Are Eliore covered in fur?
Yes! Eliore are covered in a fur that is so fine that it almost looks like regular skin. When touched, it has a faint velvety/silky finish. Eliore fur is not fluffy or poufy like the fur we are used to. It is thickest on their lower legs and thinnest on the insides of their palms, their face, and chest.

Do Eliore have genitalia?
Yes! They do! And whatever they choose to have is up to you! They don’t have a specific gender per-say, however you may choose whatever pronouns you feel fit for your Eliore! You may call the Eliore a “male/female/other”. Whatever you find accurate!

Can I add tiddy to my Eliore?
YES you may~ If you want a more feminine Eliore, you can go ahead and add the chest!~My adopts simply don’t have them so that people can add them in should they want to have a femme Eliore!

How long is the lifespan of an Eliore?
Several hundreds of years! 200yrs old is considered still about child's age! A young adult might be around 500yrs. Remember that they are beings that travel space and time often, so they need to have a long lifespan to be able to withstand all the lightyears it takes to travel from galaxy to galaxy!

What is the rate at which both species grow up in human years?
Elomimi have the same aging rate as regular humans. However, they stay looking pretty young (like 25-ish in looks) for the longest time before they have a rapid aging process around the age 500-600years.
Eliore on the other-hand age a bit slower in terms of appearance. At around 50yrs human years will the Eliore look like a 25-ish year old. They stay that appearance for a several hundreds of years before they rapidly age up and look wrinkly and old at around 3000-4000years.

How do Eliore travel from dimension to dimension, galaxy to galaxy?
They have an ability to fold time and space and warp it to whatever they choose. The travel isn't instantaneous like teleportation; Eliore still need their long lifespans in order to sustain the gaps they can't fold.

How do you kill an Eliore?
:c Idk why you would want to do that, but Eliore don't do well with fire. They're all pretty afraid of it! (All the more reason to fear the dark-matter mutation of Eliore that will be coming out soon!)

What is the lunar garden like?
Lunar gardens are extensive rainforest-like places where Eliore reside. They exist in hollow parts of orbiting moons and can be found all throughout the galaxy. The colors of the place are bright and vibrant but mainly resemble a light calming shade of blue. There is a lush wildlife and elaborate ecosystem all within the hollows of the moon! Look out for a journal that explains these lunar gardens in detail coming soon.

How long can Eliore go without lunar power before they get severely weak or die??
Normal Eliore can live up to 3-ish days without Lunar Power. However, some edgelord eliore like to live on the edge and reside in darkness only to resurface like right before their energy stores deplete. These eliore can withstand lack of lunar energy much easier than ones that are used to constant light. Not by much though. Even the edgiest of the edgy eliore can only live like a week tops before they wither LOL.

So Eliore rely on lunar energy? Does this mean they are a nocturnal species?
Yes and no!! Just like us humans, eliore have preferences towards what time of the day they prefer. Lunar energy can be absorbed any time of the day regardless of whether the sun is out or not! There are eliore that live during the day and eliore who prefer to rise at night! All that is up to you!

What is the average height of the species?
Eliore height can be from 4ft-8ft.

What constitutes a legendary eliore?
Legendary eliore traits pop out from time to time and are rarely ever set-in-stone. More and more Eliore are resurfacing from the hidden areas of the universe and more new legendary traits are found. As of right now, legendary Eliore traits are only able to be obtained from the owner rein-adopts, however, that might change in the future!

(NSFW) So my Eliore can do the deed if they want but they won’t be able to conceive unless they go to a cosmic garden?
YES! Exactly that. The eggs cannot be laid anywhere else besides the inside of an orbiting moon. They’ll be able to get pregnant for sure, but if the pregnant Eliore doesn’t get to a cosmic garden in 3 months then the egg is just reabsorbed into the body system.

What are Eliore names like? Are the themes their actual names?
No, the name of the adoptable is just for me to stay organized! You may name whatever name you want your Eliore to have. Most Eliore just kind of assimilate to whatever world they live in and adapt to a name similar to that world.
True Eliorean names are kind of like that olde English, fantasy style with the incredibly obnoxious spellings (ex. Gardwin, Weionna, Daenne etc.) THINK WORLD OF WARCRAFT!

Do Eliore assimilate only into one world and stay there or are they able to move from world to world?
Short answer: the latter. Eliore have incredibly flexible inner-anatomy thus they can be found roaming. It often takes a while for an Eliore to find a world they want to live in. They constantly fold time and space since most of the time, Eliore get bored with planets. So whenever you see one of these creatures, it is more often than not that they’ve seen multiple planets already.

How do genetics work? Like what will the child inherit?
In terms of markings, Eliore retain about a 50% inheritance from each parent when they are born.
In terms of traits (like tail length, ear type, horns, etc.) the chances to inherit a common trait is 65%, an uncommon trait 25%, rare trait 9%, legendary trait 1%
Thank you for taking the time to look at my species~

the world of elioreDIMENSIONS
By now you all know that Eliore are able to travel from planet to planet, galaxy to galaxy! However, did you know that Eliore can travel to different dimensions as well? An unmeasurable amount of dimensions exist apart from ours and Eliore live there as well. They find their way into every nook and cranny in the time-space continuum. This gives you, the owner of your Eliore, creative freedom to put your little star-tailed creature in any world you choose. Want to put them in a universe where dungeons, dragons, and fairies exist? Go for it! Or would you rather put them in a world much similar to ours? That’s cool too!
Some questions you might want to ask yourself… How do the beings of your universe see the Eliore? Are Eliore considered allies that work alongside the populations? Or are they hunted for the stars on their tails? Or maybe in your universe, Eliore are completely secret and are forbidden to show themselves to humans. All of that is com
{EL} ELOMIMI SUBSPECIES❖ Elomimi are kemonomimi Eliore! Basically half-human half-eliore subspecies that exist when a human and an eliore have a child
❖ The only main difference is that elomimi have humanoid skin tons and no-to-minimal markings.
❖ If they do have markings, they resemble tattoos.
❖ They have regular human feet which differs from the dainty paws of the anthro Eliore
❖ Elomimi can levitate and absorb lunar energy likes any other Eliore but cannot assume transparency or shapeshift.
❖ Elomimi also have elongated lifespans but not to the extent of their anthro counterparts. 500yr old Elomimi would be considered middle-aged as opposed to a young adult like in anthro Eliore
❖ If you purchased an Elomimi MYO slot, you may not switch it into an Eliore slot or vice versa.
❖ When buying an Elomimi slot, all rules apply as to purchasing an Eliore slot
❖ The rarities of traits in Elomimi are identical to that of Eliore
❖ Design-changes

I have a question bout travel from dimension / galaxy, will they be able to bring someone along with long life span as well or they can only teleport themselves? ovo
